HBT 2018 Candidate Endorsements

Huntington Beach Tomorrow appreciates all of the candidates for City Council and their commitment to making our City a better place. As a group of community advocates active in improving our community for over twenty years, HB Tomorrow has carefully considered each of the candidates, their service and achievements in the community, and their respective visions for our City.

As a nonpartisan 501(c)(4) organization, HB Tomorrow stands for the quality of life of all residents, and we share the overwhelming consensus of the City to continue curbing high-density development, and to preserve and enhance our open space, including completion of the 12-month plan to develop a Non-Toxic IPM launched May 2017.

With these principles and goals in mind, and after considering the entire talented field of candidates, HB Tomorrow’s Board endorses the following candidates:

Barbara Delgleize

Dan Kalmick

Billy O’Connell

Ron Sterud

HB Tomorrow will be making a $560.00 donation, the maximum allowed, to each of their campaigns. And we encourage you to also consider supporting them.

If you would like to make a contribution to any of these candidates, we encourage you to deliver your check through HB Tomorrow. This will let the candidates know you support the principles and mission of HB Tomorrow. Please email HBT Treasurer Tim Kowal for more information.

If you would like to be a part of HB Tomorrow, or if you would like to offer your input, we would be pleased to hear from you.

We look forward to the community-wide conversation about the future of our City this election season!

Yours Truly,
Karen Jackle, President
Mary Jo Baretich, Vice President
Tim Kowal, Treasurer
Randy Coe
Robert Sternberg
Dan Jamieson
